Situated
in the Indo-Nepal border area at about 45 kilometers form Gorakhpur, Swarna Prabha
Mahila Mahavidyalya is dedicted towards providing higher education in the Terai
area. Especially the college is committed towards providing higher education to
women to provide a new direction to society. In a society with decaying values
and increasing consumerism leading to passiveness in society, the importance of
higher education and its relevance cannot be denied. To face the relevant challenges,
we need to prepare the Indian youth in whose hands rests the future of the country.
To reconstruct the youth and developed their overall personality, the role of
training teachers for imparting higher education becomes of paramount importance.
